On Thursday, RVCJ(Rajinikanth Vs CID Jokes) – a digital media company publicly apologised for stealing content for its website and other social media accounts. RVCJ allegedly steals tweets and Facebook posts of various users and converts them into memes, that get published on its website and Facebook pages. Started like a Xerox machine, RVCJ is now a million dollar digital media company. But what made them apologise?
In Past, several attempts had been made to make RVCJ admins realise that what they are doing is not only dishonesty but also an insult to people who come up with creative and witty posts, but all these attempts failed to create an impact. Ankit Mor, one of the co-founders once abused a girl, who asked him to give due credit to her as the meme was blindly a copy-paste of her tweet.
Then came into picture HMP. HMP leaders and volunteers were in no mood to spare RVCJ, its founders and admins. HMP sleeper cell promoted people to post controversial posts with RVCJ logo. Seeing these posts, RVCJ reacted and released a note saying “RVCJ Logo is a legal trademark and using it without prior approval is an offence”. Press release also said that strict action will be taken against the perpetrators. HMP absolutely ignored the released.
In this process HMP exposed the false narrative/agenda that RVCJ was trying to set. RVCJ allegedly an Anti-Modi account has been trying to make one community look better than other community and to do the same RVCJ has published fake articles with out of context images.
HMP went a step further and launched a digital media company RVBJ, in a recorded time of 7 minutes. Logo of the same was also launched. Millions of users were now using RVBJ logo in their creative memes. In less than an hour RVBJ became the biggest competition of RVCJ.
One of the RVCJ co-founder tried to approach HMP leader, Maithun, but to no avail. The co-founder even sneaked into the leader’s Facebook profile and sent him friend request that obviously got declined.
After several attempt by RVCJ, Party leader agreed to discuss the issue. Party put the condition that RVCJ must write an apology letter and publish it on all of their social media platforms. RVCJ succumbed to HMP’s demand. Thus proving that HMP is the fastest growing social media based political party.
Note: HMP, Sahi ke saath sahi aur Galat ke saath Galat (Copied from RVCJ page).
